Everyone encounters adversity at some time or another. We live in a fallen world, fallen from God's original purpose and plan for mankind. When Adam & Eve sinned, sin entered the world and creation has been experiencing adversity ever since. Of course, God had a plan for redemption but that doesn't mean that we will not encounter adversity in our lifetime.
How do you face adversity? Rather, do you face adversity? Standing in the face of adversity, Paul from the Bible stated, "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

If you run and cower and stress out in the face of adversity, then you need to reevaluate who you are and what you are made of. Children of God (born again ones by the Spirit of Christ), do not ever have to run from adversity. We have a Blood bought covenant promise from Father God to have help available in a time of trouble. Father has placed within His children a resiliency and the ability to live victoriously over EVERY situation and circumstance. What are you made of?
